Cancer immunotherapies are aiming at cooperating with patients' immune systems to enhance native anti-tumor responses. Nowadays, with the success of new immunotherapy agents, syngeneic models have been regarded as reliable models for immunotherapy studies, after been shelved for decades. In the field of immunotherapy study, conventional xenograft models lack in relevance because of the animals' immunocompromised status.
